A Perfect Writing Day

How does yours compare?

I am spending a quiet day in a secluded garden of roses, cornflowers and pinks, speared by hollyhocks and sunflowers, and protected by shade trees where needed most. Purple morning glories wind themselves around those tree trunks. A soft, warm breeze wafts the intoxicating smell of chaparral down from the dry foothills.
