I hope we can expect better from our society

Happy Mother’s Day! I think.

This morning, however, I noticed five dead or dying roaches, four of them in the sunroom where I had sprayed insecticide on Saturday. Nothing to attract them there but since they will eat anything, they just came up through floorboards that once had heavy bookshelves on them.
